The car was totaled. Pieces of metal strewn across the highway, the windshield shattered, both Issac and his mother mangled inside.

The semi truck that hit had long passed and sirens were blaring in the distance.

A man stopped directly behind us, nearly hitting whatever was left of our bumper.

"Shit, are you okay?"

Issac mumbled his mother's name, though she didn't hear. He glanced at himself in the reflection of a partially shattered window. His face was bruised and cut and a large piece of glass stuck out of his neck. He winced and tugged at it. Searing pain soared through him as did the panic. He wanted it out now.

He tugged one more time and it went flying free along with all of the stopped up blood in his carotid. Suddenly all his clothes were stained red and his vision went blurry

The last thing he remembered was the blood curdling scream of his mother as his vision faded to darkness.

𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐗 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧. In a world that screams, I stand in despair, My voice drowned out, lost in the air. Chains of tradition tighten each day, I long to escape, but I'm forced to stay. Each breath I take feels heavy and torn, Every mistake a scar I've worn. I crave a sky where I can be free, Away from the walls that imprison me. For now, I sit with my heart in pain, Silent, yet screaming, again and again. Though shattered, a spark in me still survives, Dreaming of freedom where my soul can rise.
