At 19, Jersey Girl, Natalia Marchegiano is just trying to save up enough money to move out and go to college. Although she loves living with her Aunt, Uncle and cousins, it is time for her to spread her wings and fly. Natalia is an introvert for the most part, other then going to work she would rather spend her time at the library or at home getting a head start on her education. Her cousin, Antonia, is the complete opposite and is always trying to get Natalia to join her in her nightly escapades, which leads Natalia on a crazy path full of friendship, fun, and love. 20 year old, Mickey Nicotera, is trying to make it in the New York music scene. Unfortunately, his father does not approve of his aspirations and is taking him in as an apprentice for the "family business". His best friend and band mate Fin is trying his best to get them gigs in order to prove to Mr. Nicotera that Mickey has a chance. After a gig gone wrong, Fin invites Mickey to his aunts Diner on the edge of town. Little did Mickey know that this trip to get some late night grub would lead to a whole lot more.
