Fixing A Little Robin
Act 1 Dick Grayson has not had an easy life. It all started when his parents died then Bruce Wayne adopted him. After finding out that Bruce Wayne was Batman he became Robin to get revenge on the people who killed his parents and to help stop crime. Life was good for a while. He helped Batman fight crime and soon created his own team with his best friends Wally and Kladur. One night the team was deployed on a mission to rescue a few hostages. Everything was going as planned until the team bumped into some unexpected company. Deathstroke and Bane managed to take down the entire team and kidnap Robin before the team could call for backup. 5 years later Dick comes back with a new friend and is bloodthirsty. Cathleen was only five when it happened, when her parents died before her eyes. That night started out amazing, she had dinner with them and they went out for ice cream. However, Gotham isn't a place where good things last. When they made it to their car, it exploded, killing her mother instantly, her father rushed to save his daughter, but was gunned down. Little Cathleen could only lay there motionless and watch, whilst slipping into a coma. She slept for a year, but then woke up. The doctors didn't know how to console the traumatized six year old girl, so they let her cry it out. Once she was able to leave the hospital, she was sent to Juvi, because all of Gotham's orphanages where full. She was in Juvi for a year, before taken hostage by Joker. That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage. It was entirely a book of kidnapping, but now it's just general one-shots of the lives of Bruce Wayne's adoptees (and biological children) being the hard knock life. 1. Nightwing has been abandoned, first by his mentor, Bruce, then by Wally, his best friend, then by his second family, and now by everyone else. They blame him for what happened to Wally, they blame him for Kaldur almost dying, for Megan getting captured, for the destruction of the cave, and for keeping this all secret from them. Nobody asked him if he wanted to be left in charge, nobody asked him if he was alright during the invasion, nobody seemed to remember that he was only eighteen, nobody seemed to realize that he had to become Batman and protect Gotham along with Bludhaven , and nobody seemed to care about what their words did to him.
