Unclear Co-Ordinates

"I wonder if they miss me, or if I was just another number in another project. I wonder if he's keeping his promises, if he's waiting for me, or better still preparing for my return. I'll be honest; at that moment and at that time, even I wasn't completely sure where I was. I knew why I was here, and I knew I had to keep prevailing, but the exact co-ordinates at which I was now mindlessly shuffling through was unclear."

Survival can often be mistaken for courage, for bravery, but it really is just selfishness masked under a veil of continuation.
