this is a remake of the original series. Actually more of a reboot.
the land of Lylia is a place filled with magic, every year a wizard tournament is held to decide who will be the "magic guardian" the single person tasked with keeping balance. Lux is a young wizard who's dream has always been to be magic guardian, but when evil awakens will she be able to keep balance or lose the land to the chaos and insanity.
