Rigel would stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if it means setting the whole city on fire.
Thirteen years after Tartan city barely survived complete annihilation, now they stand as a beacon of peace and prosperity. But their time of harmony would once again be threatened because of a young man's idea.
By means of a box capable of opening a rift between dimensions, he ventured on a quest to find his father, the man he believes to be the hero who saved their city from the winged fleet of fire breathing monsters.
But is it worth opening a portal and summoning beings of destruction towards their hometown, in exchange of finding the man who risked his life to save it?
In a world peppered with tales of vile and vicious beast, Rigel would brave the unknown playing catch with a murderous shadow, being eaten alive, drowning in a sea of monsters, and more child friendly stuffs.
So hold fast...because time would flow, memories would fade, but a heart never forgets what it wants the most.

There, they will have to find the Light to dispel the growing Darkness within. Though this qest is honorable and righteous, the dangers that await them are exponentially worse than they could ever imagine. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.Complete
