I shook my head and looked down at the floor. I didn't need pity from him. I didn't need pity from anyone. Just because Luke doesn't feel the same way doesn't mean my life is going to deteriorate. "I'm sorry." - - - When I first met Luke we instantly became friends. Maybe it was the fact that were alike in more ways than one, who knows. Our love for the same bands were pretty much the same and we would always be wearing something that matched. Whether it was the same colour skinny jeans, the same bands on our shirts or the same shoes. We matched and it made us happy. However, being a teenager I fell in love with the lanky tall boy and he fell in love too...Just not with me. He fell in love with my best friend. Texas O'Conner. My heart was crushed.

Life is panning out exactly how I expected it to. I made it to high school. I'm a teenager. I don't have any of the partying and spring break memories I'd hoped for, but it's not bad.
