Set in and around modern-day San Francisco, Deli Witch takes the classic "Romeo and Juliet" and throws it into a world of warlocks, witches, and magical spells. Spencer wants more out of life than being a simple software engineer. When he 'happens' upon an obviously upset young woman named Cassandra, his simple act of compassion will cause him to experience a world unlike any he could ever imagine. Cassandra, who happens to be a wizard, is torn between two worlds - the magical one to which she desperately wishes to belong and the mortal one in which she has been forced to live. For this young female wizard has a not so minor problem - though she tries, she cannot cast spells worth a darn.

Her burgeoning relationship with Spencer causes other problems. Falling in love with a mortal will cause her to lose what few powers she may have and be cast out of the wizarding world. Will she choose to follow her heart or her family's wishes? What magical tricks will her family and friends employ to keep them apart? What extreme measures will others in the wizarding world use to prevent a mortal from polluting wizard blood? And what will happen if Spencer discovers Cassandra is a witch? Find out in "Deli Witch".

This is a full-length novel. A sequel is possible (I have a main plot worked out). If Deli Witch is popular enough, then I will work on continuing Spencer and Cassandra's adventures.

Morana, the Witch of Life by High_Priestess_Elena
101 parts Complete Mature
Morana knows she's different from other people in more ways than one. Firstly, she's sixty-seven years old but stopped ageing in her twenties. Weird things have also happened around her right after she's wished for it. But most importantly, no matter how she acts, people feel uncomfortable around her. Unfortunately, she has no way of finding out why all of this is since she was abandoned as a baby. A shocking event makes her cross paths with Alejo, a male witch who has issues trusting other witches. But when it comes to Morana, he feels comfortable and at ease, as well as attracted to her. They are, however, not mates, and as such, he knows that any romantic relationship between them is doomed to fail. To not risk losing her, he therefore does all he can to fight his own feelings. [Can be read without having read volume one and two] ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence (magical mainly, but some that's rather bloody), death, attempted rape (happens in chapter 42 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fairly none-descriptive, focus is on emotions, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), abuse both physically and verbally - mention of past child abuse. There is no self-harm, however, there are certain aspects that might still be triggering in that regard. If you ever have any questions about the content and potential triggers, feel free to reach out to me. I'm more than happy to specify more if need be. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (completed) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light (ongoing) Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love
Danae, the Witch of Light by High_Priestess_Elena
88 parts Complete Mature
Danae has lived for well over two thousand years and she is tired of it, but unable to die. She has withdrawn from most magical creatures, including other witches, as she has seen far too many acts of selfishness and greed. The exceptions are the dragon Rikus and phoenix Zeal, who she counts as family, as well as the few friends who visit on occasion. And, of course, the pack of wolf-shifters located near the cave she calls home, who she's unable to avoid due to recurring conflicts. As all members of his pack, Aidric has grown up hearing the stories of the cruel treatment the pack has suffered at the hands of the Witch of the Mountain. As such, there's no doubt in his mind she is the one responsible for the disappearance of children from the pack. But when he goes to confront her, his opinion of her takes a drastic change. Having lived for so long and knowing she cannot die, Danae is determined to reject the Alpha of the wolf pack when it turns out he is her mate. Aidric, however, is equally determined to win her over and asking her to help find the missing children is a perfect way to keep her close. ----- Mature rating due to: explicit scenes, mentions of suicide attempts, thoughts of wanting to die, (magical) violence ----- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (completed) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light (completed) Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love

First day of college: blow up a lab, awaken ancient magic, try not to fall for a vampire. ●●● Red Hathaway thought the worst part of her first day of college would be getting lost. For nineteen years, she believed she was just an ordinary girl navigating the chaos of school, bullies, and late-night movie marathons. But everything changes the moment her skin cracks with magic and something otherworldly stirs inside her. Red isn't human. She never was. Whisked away under moonlight to Mystic Academy, a hidden university for the supernatural elite, Red is thrown into a world pulsing with ancient magic and dark secrets. As Red struggles to control her powers, she finds herself drawn to a dangerously irresistible presence: a seductive vampire with secrets written in blood and a gaze that sees straight through her soul. He might be the key to unlocking her past-or the reason she doesn't survive her future. But something darker hunts her. Something hungry. And if Red doesn't uncover who-or what-she really is, this new world might be the death of her. Magic is calling. So is danger. Niccola is a demi-queen undercover in enemy territory. Her little sister went missing seven moons ago, but one lead remains: a picture of a woman's face, drawn by a diviner shortly after the disappearance. Tracking her down has led Niccola to Calis, the realm next door whose border with her own remains closed for a reason. There, the trail goes cold. Until, that is, Niccola runs into a man in the marketplace who bears a family resemblance to the woman she seeks. His name is Isaiah, crown prince of Calis, and he's investigating disappearances, too. They join forces, faking courtship to sneak Niccola into the palace and get Isaiah's wedding-minded mother off his back. It doesn't take long to suspect that a common threat might underpin both their realms' problems. And as Niccola begins to develop real feelings for Isaiah, she's faced with an impossible choice: reveal her secrets and risk breaking his trust, or leave him in order to chase down the woman who stole her sister... a woman whose forbidden magic comes with a cost that could bring both realms to ruin. ❖❖❖ Complete and fully edited.
