Everyone's watched scary movies as a kid. I know I've had my fair share of scary movies. My best friend would usually make me watch the newest horror film with her. I eventually got used to them, but I never got rid of the paranoia that followed. Usually after a scary movie, I'd be sitting in my room and I would hear sounds. It was always my imagination. But not this time, no. This time was different. My Mom had just gone out on her umpteenth date, when I heard someone walking around down stairs. At first, I thought it was just my Mom, but then I realized that the footsteps were too heavy to belong to her. It had to be a man. But that didn't make sense; no man would be walking around my house. There were no men in my life. So, the only other reasonable option would be my imagination. For good measure, I locked my bedroom door. I wouldn't be risking anything. So, I turned off my TV and put in one of my earbuds. The walking came closer and closer to me. Soon, I could distinguish breathing coming from outside of my door. I whipped out my phone and dialed 911. Before I could tell them my emergency, the door was shoved open, breaking the lock. I screamed, but the man knocked me upside the head and everything went black. My phone was still on, though. The call was still on. That was the time I had been abducted.
