The dark has now risen as the sun has set.

A million years ago the elder god of light, Onshi foresaw that there will be a time when the darkness will consume the earth.

In order to prevent this fate on earth, Onshi fused his power into six immortal souls.This souls were to be the earth's salvation if ever the dark arose.

To do this Onshi  himself subjected himself to be in a state of yungi. Half alive and half dead.
