Pidge has been having more and more trouble keeping her true identity a secret, especially from her crush, Keith. She wants to tell him, but the fear of being sent away like back at the Garrison invades her thoughts every time. But then a routine supply run on a gallra ship takes a dangerous turn, and Pidge and her identity are in danger.

Lance is stranded on the Earth-like planet since Blue fell into a deep abyss. The paladins realize this is a battle that won't be won and decide to leave. But as they realize the blue lion is temporarily lost, they decide to leave Keith and Red to stay with Lance and look for Blue. Maybe the rivals can learn to be friends... They rarely spoke to each other and only knew things about each other that they told the whole team, Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, Coran and Allura. They were always off doing their own things and never did things together unless it was for a mission. On such a mission the team got split up. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now.
