-Leo, Mikey, Donnie, and Raph all have Hamato Yoshi as their biological father.

One day when Leo and Raph were only 5 years old (Mikey and Donnie being only a year younger than them) fell victim to an intentional housefire which has changed their lives forever...

Leo;
Has developed a minor case of Asthma after almost suffocating to death.

Raph;
Is angry that he wasn't there to protect his brothers and has anger management issues.

Donnie;
The incident left him traumatized and he has frequent nightmares about it.

Mikey;
Doesn't remember anything which has happened due to him being in a coma and has forgotten his brothers.

Dealing with the aftermath, Hamato Yoshi has to make the most difficult decision of his life in order to protect his sons from his evil half-blood brother, Oroku Saki.
He gives them up for adoption.-

Now Leonardo Oroku is fifteen years old and has been serving as a human punching bag for Saki throughout most of his life.

His master taught him to believe that his family has abandoned him and no one loves him...

Then one day Shredder sends him to High School in order to complete his mission:

"To find the Hamato Brothers and eliminate them."

Leo wants to make his father proud while also making a good impression on the teachers and students...
That all changes when he meets his brothers at school.

How will they react to seeing each other for the first time in over a decade?

Will Leonardo discover the truth about what happened in the fire all those years ago?
