There is small a town called Quillen where everything was perfect until mysterious creatures start lurking and destroying everything in there sight, the mayor of Quillen decided to close their borders and put up a barrier and no one was allowed to leave or they would die then everything was perfect once again. A small family: The Stokes have been a perfect family ever since the lockdown, Terry Stoke, a ten-year-old boy who is against this whole thing and wants to save the town while Kat Stoke, a thirteen-year-old girl who wants to accept the fact that the world is ending but Terry doesn't believe that and he will do whatever it takes to get the world up and running.

He walks into the forest with two adults, one male, and one female. I smirk down at them from my tree as I slowly climb onto a nearby branch of another tree. Welcome to Evergreen
During winter break, a retreat welcomes 20 students from a nearby city school into Evergreen, a small friendly mountain town known for it's scenic views and cozy inns sought after for the vacation vibe. Welcomed to take part in a retreat promoting mindfulness and self-growth, the students on this trip find this as the opportunity to do everything but that. On a hike, a group of students wander out to a nearby grotto where they discover a plethora of flowers. Entranced by their beauty, they decide to take some back with them. Within hours of this event, one of their chaperones falls ill. She becomes extremely irritable and erratic with everyone she encounters in town. Soon enough, other townspeople begin to fall ill with similar symptoms and this sends a wave of panic over the town and its inhabitants. The local sheriff decides to place a quarantine on the town to avoid new people from becoming affected and preventing those who are ill from leaving and possibly spreading the mysterious malady. It seems no one from the outside world is aware of what is happening and because people are succumbing to this mysterious ailment, there is no one making it down the mountain safe enough to reach someone for help. In the news, a huge storm is forecasted, thus the kids must decide whether to forge their potential fate or take the trip down.
