This Detective Can't Catch A Break From His Strange Cases
Ryo Kuroda, a 25 year old former police officer dismissed for his lack of physical strength, hoped to start fresh as a private detective. One night, he saved a very unnatural-looking cat from being chased by some eerie creatures. In return, the cat "blessed" him with a wish, "for more clients". What sounded like a stroke of luck quickly became a never-ending nightmare, as his office was soon flooded with the strangest, most inexplicable cases imaginable.
But with each strange case comes a lingering unease - patterns that shouldn't exist, clues that feel too intentional. Ryo begins to suspect that something, or someone, is pulling the strings behind the scenes.
With nothing but his sharp mind, stubbornness, and an ever-growing headache, Ryo is forced to navigate a world where the supernatural is very real and very troublesome. Either way, ever since that cat granted his wish, he's barely had a single peaceful day.
