She moves away while getting taken from her mother and reunited with her maternal grandmother she was trapped away from. 

She's now 17 trying to survive without a father and her mother away from her but close. She keeps her life a secret from everyone around her except her teachers. Now 3 years past from the move and she has to go back to court and end this all. She never thought anyone payed attention to her but what happens when Karson Allister catches a glimpse of her writing and gets to see a preview of her life secrets. 

Karson was the only one really paying attention and slowly falling for Haven. Karson was in a relationship already, so he tries to drawing away from Haven but can't.
