This my *AU* version of Can and Sanem's story.
It might not stay true to the show but will definitely have some story themes of EK.
I love how in earlier episodes Sanem was like a fish out of water and was trying to find her place. And Can was the same way, even though outwardly he looked in control. I hope to capture some of that feel through this story.
I am really excited for the writer change in the show and I cannot wait for episode 40 and beyond.
I truly hope the new direction the show is going will only make it better. It's also bringing back my enthusiasm to write stories.

A bit of a different story as I currently have lost my mojo for the serie EK. I am super upset about the cheap soap opera plot of Can losing his memory; well Sanem only which is even more ridiculous. I just cannot believe the writers come up with such dumb plot and waste opportunities for good ones by making Yigit go with a letter?!? WTH?? They built his character to be obsessed and he just sends her a letter??? What a waste, there could have been a great drama and Can saving Sanem. Same with Huma, there could have been a really emotional episode if Can had known what she had done. He still thinks Yigit is disabled because of him?!?!? So again why were these plots buried and replaced by some amnesia story. It annoys me because amnesia is such a famous soap opera plot that comedians when making fun of soap operas use this story, like in Friends, I believe Joe wakes up with amnesia in his soap... Based on the trailers, Sanem is going back to being silly and humiliated by the writers which is the reason I already stopped watching around episode 20 for a while. I have very little hope the 2 new writers, both males, will bring better plots. However, I still love the passionate couple that Sanem and Can form so I want to keep writing about them. Erkenci Kus- Remember Love
Following a terrible accident, Can Divit loses his memory. He wakes up and there is a stranger beside his bed, Sanem, her eyes full of love and hope. Hope that he crushes in an instant when he asks "Who are you?" Two years of his life disappeared, he tries to reconcile with the man he woke up as and the man Sanem loves. However, he can't ever imagine giving up his freedom for love. So is his amnesia a blessing in disguise, a way to claim back his life and love of freedom or an error he has to correct. A clash between two men in one body. Sanem's Can, who would give up everything for his love. The one ready to get married, settle down and start a family. Can Divit, the lonely Albatross who values his freedom above all, dedicated to his camera and spreading his wings discovering all corners of the world. Falling in love with Sanem isn't the problem, the question is will she accept this version of him. Or will she choose the memories of the past over the new memories they could create together. How does Sanem cope with these two men? Will she fight to get her Can back or try to understand the Albatross a little better. She is sure of only one thing, whoever he is today she will always love him. Her Can or the new Can. Sanem has to decide whether or not she is ready to go down the path of new discovery with the Can who doesn't remember her. However, the memories of their past love are so important than her, maybe too important. Will she stick around or save herself the heartache. The story will begin as an intercept between episode 46 and 47 then pick up at episode 51 before the reunion. Enjoy!Concluída
A Slight Obsession
People often say things happen due to fate or destiny, others say it's just coincidence, while some claim it's due to someone, or something, causing it to happen. Until recently, Y/N just lived their life peacefully, moving every so often due to their parents work. They tried not to get attached to anyone so they wouldn't end up hurt, or hurting someone else once they move again. After meeting certain people though, will they have to move so often? Would they even be able to? ~~~ Alrighty, hello there readers! Not sure why you're here, but if you enjoy this story, then you got bad taste, ngl. Sorry not sorry. Anyways, I'm not 100% sure where I'm going with this story but eh. The updates will be extremely random, hope you're all are okay with that. I'm mostly going to go around the main storyline with... slight changes? I just hope I don't make it anymore confusing than it already is. QUICK NOTE PLEASE READ L will be slightly aged down, I don't feel comfortable writing Y/N as an 18 year old and L as a 24-25 year old with romantic feelings for said 18 year old. L will instead be 20 since that would work out better for the story. Near will not be a love interest, he will be more of a younger brother figure, and Mello will have more of an admiration for Y/N, like a kid crushing on a celebrity sorta thing. I'm gonna try and make this sorta slowburny, but with my writing style, I'm sure that won't be an issue. I'm also gonna try to keep this as gender neutral as possible, so please let me know if I've accidentally used the wrong pronouns or something throughout the story!! SANEM AND CAN: OUR LIFE WILL NEVER BE BORING
This is my take on episodes 29, 30, etc. and the Fabri, perfume, Can in jail farce. I could not stand Can's attitude at the hut, his attitude was that of a spoiled brat, his yelling at Sanem in front of Polen, and her smirking. I could not stand Polen from her first introduction. My interpretation of this story does not include Can's memory loss, leaving for a year, or Sanem acting so childish. I will make Huma pay for her interference, but still working on that idea. I also did not like Emre getting off so easily. He needs to repent a little more. I thought Aziz was made out to be simple minded, when he had started and built a multimillion dollar business. He was not that old. I took creative license to make the story like I would have liked it to be and end! I made up details just to make it fun at times. There will be drama and violence, not my favorite, but will get even with some of the villains. I am not affiliated with Erkenci Kus, its actors, writers, or anyone. I am just a fan and not a writer. Life a gift to discover
This is an AU story inspired in the original dizi of Erkenci Kus. I had some ideas to many open points that where left without a reply. I missed a different approach to some of the characters like Yiyit or Huma or even Ayhan and why not Derem and Cey Cey. In my thoughts they deserved another end at no way these characters had a fair exit in the story. However to make things more interesting and amusing I have just come to the idea that Mr. Wrong should be around and we shall see what happens with all of them. So some characters and things and could be slightly different from orginal serie. I beguin after Can leaves with Polen to the Balkans and Sanem remains in agency and is working at her book already with Yiyit. Another note, the famliy Divit has 2 sons Can and Emre and a daughter called Lale. This is my first story and Im not experienced in writting. I haven't got the rights of the characters from the original story.
Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Concluída
