It's this stuff I wrote back when I was younger. Things are a lot different now, and I know we're not who we used to be. You've read this one already, but I liked how I depicted "love" as simple as this. Thanks to you, I relived a part of my childhood. You've been one of my greatest friends!
(I didn't revise or change the words even their tags, lol. It really feels like I'm going back in time. I wrote this when we were in elementary or 7th grade I think? Oh btw, I'm publishing this again today: 08 NOV 22. Happy birthday! You're really getting old, I feel old too T^T)

Worth the Risk
August & Colin | WRU series | book 1 We take risks. We make mistakes. We lie. We love. We hurt. We lose total control. I took a risk. I paid the price. I made a mistake. I felt the guilt. I lied. I lie. I loved. I try not to. I hurt. I still do. I lost control. I'm losing again. I try to stick to my plan, I try to follow my rules, I try to silence my heart, I try to keep control of the domino stones that represent my life. But one domino fell and the rest just followed. *** "We shouldn't do this," he whispers against my lips. I should applaud him for having the strength to act on that thought because I haven't been able to. At one point I wanted to, but his touches made the impulse to stop vanish. Now, the only thing I want to act on is the longing inside my chest as I think about demolishing the space between us. "Do you want to stop?" I can feel his frown against my forehead. He nudges my nose before placing a featherlight kiss on my mouth. His hands slide over my jawline, his thumbs slowly caressing my cheeks. He gives me another kiss. Slow and deliberately, as if he's still debating the answer to my question as he slicks his tongue over mine. He softly sucks on my bottom lip, dragging it with him when he pulls away. Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! Anneliese
Anneliese is an empathetic, goofy, outgoing young woman who has struggled finding a place to discover herself. Often looking for new ways to meet friends, she wouldn't pass the opportunity to chat someone up. Even a stranger at the diner she works at to pass time and support herself. A dedicated man takes to the nativity of Anneliese. He's direct and prefers to keep to himself. Even an isolated man by choice can't withstand Anneliese's pull. Gravitating towards her, he manages to bring her a sense of comfort to the new beginnings in life. Not all beginnings are as true as they let off. ~ ❀ ~ I can't help but stare at her. Her face, lips, and smile, and her nose. Even her long, curled lashes. "Let's do a butterfly kiss!" She exclaims, pulling my face close suddenly. Kiss? My heart hammers in my chest, my breath hitching. Her small hands hold my face close to hers. It's not very forceful, I could pull away if I wanted to, but I let her have control. Her hands are warm and soft against my jaw. Getting closer, her eyes lashes flutter and I find myself holding my breath. She brushes her lashes to mine, her breath fanning against my lips. Subconsciously, I lean forward, wanting my lips to be on hers. June flutter her lashes, grazing her lashes to mine. Out of nowhere she bursts out in a fit of laughter. I flinch back. Butterfly kiss. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. "What the fuck is your problem?" I asked my sworn enemy. "Have you lost your damn mind!" I scream at the top of my lungs. This bitch better answer me before I lose my shit. "HELLOO!" I get closer this time. Now I'm directly in his face screaming at him. "WILL YOU FUCKING AN- mmfp." I was suddenly cut off by his lips on mine. He pushed his tongue into my mouth, exploring every inch like he's starving. He lets me go and I have to gasp in order to catch my breath. I already know my face is flushed and red. "Are you done princess?" He asked in his dark gravely tone. Dammit if he doesn't stop with this princess thing I think I may fall in love. "Yes, now what the fuck was that for?" I took a step back, so he doesn't decide to just kiss me again. I can't do that again. I am almost one hundred percent sure my panties are soaked. "You were talking too much." Then he just walked away. God he's such an asshole! ~*~ Clara is stuck in this hell hole of a place because of the fact that her parents are blackmailing her to stay. Her dark hair mirrored the direction of the wind, the setting sun being replaced by the brightness of her smile. We were sitting so close I could feel her warmth. It was an unusual situation. Friends don't do this. We held eye contact for a long time before I couldn't take it anymore and just closed my eyes. It wasn't real, she was just my friend. Then, I felt her tuck a strand of my curly hair behind my ear. That with the chill of the night sent shivers down my spine and a swarm of butterflies attacked my stomach. I reopened my eyes. If she didn't want me, why did she look at me that way? I held her hand and I held it for so long because I didn't know if we'd have another moment like this. We talk and laugh and she tells me I'm pretty and I ask her if she'd just noticed that and we laugh again. I realize the feelings I felt in that moment were not just the intense feelings of attraction that I felt every time I was with her. Warmth flooded to my face and if it wasn't for my dark complexion, my blush would be noticeable. I look into her dark-colored eyes and I come to the conclusion that I'm royally fucked and I'm probably also in love.Complete
