Hard Feelings

Alex Vosler has had her fair share of love and loss. It seems that bad luck follows her and rubs off onto the people she gets closest to.
Moving to a new city, Alex hopes to restart and find someone new. She does just that, only, she finds someone that will be hard to catch. Alex loves the chase though. A professor, Nathan Averies, at her new university is not quite what she first had in mind, but once she set out to get him, she would not stop.

"Alex, no. Just no. I can't do this."
"What do you mean you can't do this?"
"Alex, please, just stop."
"Stop what Nate?"
"Making me want you."
"And why is that my fault."
"You don't get it! I'm not blaming you damn it!"
"Well it sure seems like you are!"
"Fuck Alex. I'm not. I'm losing my control around you and I can't fucking do that. I'm trying to make you want to stay away from me."
"Well you're not doing a very good job."

Alex sure knows what she is getting into, but does he?
