There's an eighth year added to Hogwarts, and Hermione, Ron, Harry, Luna, Ginny and Neville come back for their last two years. Everything is expected to be normal - finally just two, peaceful years at Hogwarts, without any interference from Voldemort or his Death Eaters.
And I guess they weren't wrong; no contact with dark magic whatsoever. However, things are very far from normal, for one main reason only:
Hermione is now close friends with Blaise Zabini, Astoria Greengrass, Theodore Nott, Pansy Parkinson and Draco Malfoy??
