Lucid
My name is Lucille Cutter but I'm usually called Lucy. I am what is known as a lucid dreamer, lucid dreaming is where the person dreaming is aware they are dreaming and can exert some form of control over the dream. In my dreams I can control some things but my dreams are different... They hurt me. When I dream I can get hurt and when I wake up I feel the pain, there is no physical mark but I feel the immense pain. I've had tests done but no one knows why it happens only that it could kill me. Trapped
This will be a draft to a story in the works about a man sent to solitary confinement for a crime he did not commit. Desperate to maintain his sanity, he falls into a lucid dream where he meets fellow lucid dreamers, one of them a wise man who teaches him a lot about living a meaningful life.
