Mature
When, Marleigh, a mild mannered Florida teen gets expelled after a fight at school, her mother sends her packing to an estranged relative in The Bahamas. After days go by without contact from her mother, Marleigh attempts to escape feelings of neglect by immersing herself into "the island life" she once knew.

Slowly she adjusts to this new environment of love and life and laughter and her guard begins to falter. But as ghosts of her past begin catching up to her, Marleigh soon learns that finding escape doesn't come so easily...

Marleigh will learn that while there is no changing the past, she still has a choice: She can choose her steps going forward. She can choose not to let her past define her. She can choose forgiveness. Love. Courage. Joy.

And finally, she can choose what she wants to call home.
