The world has been overrun by wolves. They're everywhere; no one can escape them. They overcome any obstacle thrown their way, and they'll slaughter anyone obstructing their paths. These creatures have completely taken over the wolves, and no human is safe from them. Except one place. The Wall, a large village where humans have taken their last stand. It's refuge to any, with one exception: no wolves.
Lyssa Irwin's family are hunters. They pillage the woods, tracking and killing all wolves they come across. It's always been drilled into her head that these creatures destroy everything and take and take and take.
