Since I was young I’ve been inside my own head, barely peeking out at the world, looking as though through a rainy window, the door to outside locked from outside with a key the world itself has labelled “autism.” I was never meant to escape, until society itself is cracked open, and the key is turned, if only for a fraction, giving me my first glance at the world outside…still with the rain, but without the glass.

The key turner? Kieran Ravenwood, and his inability to process rules.
