Leah Campbell couldn't remember the last time she had been truly happy. She was so consumed by her broken home and the inner struggles consumed her, pushing her deeper into her thoughts, and she felt like she was fading away. Only her best friend, Lily, seemed to see her silent battle. Reed Wake was the classic bad boy, no fucks given. He did what he wanted when he wanted. Whether it be by his charm or his family name, he never had an issue with rejection. Until Leah. Reed Wake had always been curious about her, ever since the first moment, he had met her eyes through his bedroom window. He had been completely taken aback by her beauty and all he could do was stare. Right until the moment she abruptly closed her curtains on him. Unfortunately for Reed, she had refused to do so much as glance at him. Barely acknowledging any words he had ever said to her. Reed was always angry at Leah for reasons she did not know, and she couldn't help but retaliate to his unexplainable distaste for her with her own angry remarks. Somehow she always manages to get under his skin and this worked well for Leah, having an outlet for all the anger and frustration trapped inside her. As Leah's home-life gets worse and her mental health declines rapidly, her only relief is found in the addictions she tries so desperately to hide. Leah has her best friend fooled, and yet when it comes to Reed she can't shake the feeling that he sees right through her. Leah is suffocating, will Reed realise before it's too late? #3 - savemefrommyself // 29 Jan. '22 #44 - badboynextdoor // 19 Jan. '22 #4 - nextdoorneighbor// 16 Dec. '23
