Ten or Eleven

"No No NO you see, we've done this ten times!Ten times! I'm telling you we have done this ten times already."

"Yes, I know. This is our tenth appointment and we have had this conversation every time. This was actually our first conversation and we have been having it for all ten separate hours."

"No! We have had this tenth appointment ten time! As we have every other appointment.

"So you had another visit last night then I suppose. Because Last week we had the same conversation with the ninth appointment. The week before about the eighth. I'm sorry but, at some point you are going to have to recognize that-"

"-that what you believe isn't reality-"

"No, what you have to realize is that your living isn't real."

Living one life is hard enough. Living ten is even worse. Anne-Calvert woke up one day having to follow Rikkard and his life. She saw things in his world that she'd never seen in any memory she has of her own. She watched him grow. It seems that this man and her lived the same life even though the universe rarely allowed them to meet. Sadly he died, and she followed him not a minute after. Then it happened aging with Simone. Then Mallory. And Shae, Macauly, Wilhelm, Emeli, Ima, Calum, Hue. All ten of them. She lived their lives with them. She's gotten to know each of them ten times. She's lived over one-hundred life times. None of them her own. Number eleven and she waits for the unexpected. She waits for the third loop.

I had an idea like this brewing for a little while. When I got it on paper it started to grow and thrive. I have a large storyline planned out. I am posting this right now to see if it is actually interesting and if the planning was worth anything. I appreciate comments to know I am not just wasting my life.
