Eden De Vries lived in a society where, unless you had money or knew someone who has money, it was best to keep your head down. Unless you had a death wish. A simple class system full of corruption, the police, and money runs her city. The only way out was money or to be bonded to someone with money. Being bonded, which was akin to soulmates, was A load of propaganda and rubbish to a girl just trying to finish high school and survive her less-than-high society father and his druggy friends. When unfortunate circumstances lead her to meet police officer Hayden and control freak CEO Caledon North, everything changes. Apparently, she had a soulmate or two, and apparently, the law dictated that she was stuck with them. This is her 'chance' to be more than another dirty girl on the street. There is slight 'bullying' of the male protagonists to the main character. But obviously, they end up falling harder. ;)
