After taking time to focus on training, Branden sets up a surprise for his friends before they set out to find Favors, who managed to escape their grasp. After finding his compound and making a gruesome discovery, Branden takes Daniel, Solis, Luna, and Somer and go into the future. While there, Branden has a small misadventure and even makes a new friend as he tries to learn more about his newest opponent.
