Most 18 year olds are reaching for independence. Graduation parties, automobile licenses, and moving out. They are working jobs and building on dreams. Some haven't an idea where they want to take their lives, but are thrust into this new found adulthood. 

Me, well, I can't leave my house. My independence was replaced with the absence of privacy. I am often too weak to get out of bed. My steps toward greatness are heavy and my breath of life is labored. I have cancer.
