Summer nang mamatay ang kaniyang nakatatandang kapatid dahil sa car accident. Summer nang bawian ng buhay ang kaniyang ama dahil sa atake sa puso. Summer nang duguin ang kaniyang ina at malaglag ang dinadala nitong bata. So no one can blame her for hating summer. She despises it more than any seasons. She has all the rights to ask why many of her downfalls happen during summer, but she never does. She just keeps silent and cries on the corner of her room.

She's afraid, yes. She dreads summer. But not until she meets Nico Arellano. He takes all her fears away from her. He removes every doubt she has. And, without her knowing, she finds herself gradually falling for the man.

But summer surely has a way to ruin her life. When, finally, she finds her happiness, everything in her life turns upside-down. She discovers something about Nico - something that will test their love for each other. Will they survive it? Or will she yet again lose another important person in her life?
