This includes many of the original elements of the 100 but under different circumstances that I think could have been beautiful

After the world was destroyed many were forced to live on the Ark is space. Clarke longs to see the ground just once but it is not believed to be inhabitable for another 100 years.....until they were given no choice but to find out. With the ark station dying Clarke and her parents decide to warn those of the dire situation but are forced to flee or die. When they make it on the ground they are shocked to find other survivors, including the enticing commander. Will they be able to survive?
