Loki paced his room in anger, confusion, and grief. Odin was in his bed specifically for Odin sleep and I knew Loki blamed himself.
Finally, I couldn't take it. "Loki, calm down. Please." I told him as I grabbed him arm.
He pulled his arm back. "You heard everything. Those were possibly the last words he'll ever hear. A maidservant gave my father comfort as he possibly fell out of his last memories." His words stung slightly and he realized it too late. "No, no, no. That's not what I-"
"No. That was true. I'm just a maidservant. But you? Odin is in incapable of being king and Thor is banished. It doesn't matter why you are king in standing, just that you are. You can worry about Odin on your own time. Now, I'm going to grab you some water. When I get back, I expect a composed, cool-headed man ready to rule for the time being." I turned around and exited, the door closing behind me. I heard Loki bang on the door in anger and it took all I had not to go in and comfort him again.

"And who are you?" The Frost Giant King, Laufey asked. I cleared my throat and puffed my chest out. "I am (Y/N) Ísveig, future wife of Thor Odinson, and daughter of Sigrid the Beauty and Calder Nord. You captured my mother and cursed her. You said the next child she would conceive would be given horrible powers." "You believe we cursed you?" The king questioned, an amused smile playing on his lips. "No, it was your mother who cursed one of us, and lied to you about it. It seems all Asgardians do is lie." I felt all the air leave my body. "Father?" The King's young daughter slips through the partly open door of her father's chambers. "Father!" She whispers again, a note of urgency evident in her sweet voice. He hears her this time. Sees her, too. He snaps himself out of this post-nightmare haze and focuses on her. "Nightmare?" He asks the infant softly. She nods and hugs her stuffed horse closer to her chest. "Can... can I stay with you?" she squeaks. He ponders this for a moment, but one look at her innocent face stained with tears of silver was enough to make up his mind. "Of course you can. Come, come here." Smiling a little, she does her best to climb up and onto the bed, but, like always, is too short to make it on her own. Her father chuckles lowly and leans down to pick her up, receiving a quiet "Thank you, Father" from his only daughter. She clings to him and he wraps his arms around her, and in perfect silence they embrace. "Will you tell me about the dream?" He eventually asks. He strokes her straight, snow-white hair and gazes into her delicate eyes, those too, white in colour. "You are sad. Will you tell me what you saw in that dream?" he does his best to coax it out of her whilst remaining soft and patient. She has had too many nightmares recently, just like her father. I took his hands in mine frantically, causing his eyes to meet mine. "Then hand over the Tesseract and come home, Loki. Please." "I can't." He pulled away. "If I'm not allowed rule on Asgard, then I'll rule here." My eyebrows knitted together in desperation. "Loki, pleas-" My plea was cut shot as a burst of energy and the distinctive clang of metal on metal pushed me over into the god of mischief. We stumbled backwards until I laid on his chest and he grunted from the sudden impact. "Thor." I cursed under my breath. "Sorry..." I began lifting myself off of his body. I narrowed my gaze and quickly stood to rush into Thor's aid, ignoring his dejected expression. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do. "I still love you." ___________________________________________ (Y/N) Ísveig thought she'd made peace with Loki's death. She couldn't bring herself to forgive him for everything he had done, obviously, but she was finally beginning to live the life she always wanted. She was no longer deemed future queen of Asgard, and she was slowly learning to control her amplified ice powers. Asgard was once a happy place for Freya but after her mother was murdered everything seemed dark and sluggish. Freya lived with her horrible neighbours for a while as she had nowhere else to go, or so she thought. One day Freya meets a woman who was friends with her mother and who also happens to work for Odin. Freya stays with the mystery woman until the go to the castle where Freya is about to learn something shocking. Frigga is helping her husband calm down when his assistant comes respectfully into the room with a small girl. Frigga notices something about the girl and is reminded of her adopted son. She invited them to stay for dinner where she finds out the truth. One cold touch. Just one touch and Frigga knew what her son had been hiding all those years. p.s. This book does not follow Norse mythology. In my story, I have made Freya Lokis daughter even though his real daughter is Hel. Also, this is the soft Loki. The one that is our sweet little baby. It is set after Loki tries to take over the world and before Frigga dies. Second also, they wear more modern clothes because I'm not good at Asgardian clothes and things. P.P.S nothing is in order.
