David Orson returns to his hometown of Hephaestus City after an impressive run at the American Duel Monsters National Championship, where he ended up placing fourth. However, it's not long before he find himself and his friends wrapped up in the schemes of a strange technocratic cult that has dug it's roots deep into his city.
