Joelle Coleman lived, since she could remember, in the circus. There was nothing in this world that made her happier, than waking up with the first rays of sunshine and go exploring new places. In the year 1936 there was a time, where the circus la d'or rosé came to New York, where it pitched its tents and planned on staying there over the winter break. For exactly three months Jo would stay in New York and go hunt her little adventures. The ones who lived in the circus had a big family, because in the circus everybody stayed together. But as a consequence, it was hard to find new friends. Normally you'd spent only a few weeks in one city, then you'd leave again. Joelle knew that. Especially when she was younger it was hard for her not having real friends, but with time she accustomed. When she was 18 years old and she came to New York, she didn't believe she would make actual friends. But destiny had decided different...
