A girl named Logan survives with a dark cloud hanging over her head. Constantly living in a state of fear, exhaustion, and loneliness. Logan only looks forward to when she can get away from her life in the small town of Grimsby, where she can live freely without the pressure her parents lay upon her. Derek is a boy who recently moved to Grimsby with his parents for a start fresh. Derek's father got involved in some unpleasant business and in order to keep his wife and sons safe, he made the family abruptly pack some of their things and leave their hometown. Derek is an intelligent, sporty, sarcastic guy who loves too deeply or not at all. Logan is an independent, fearful, withdrawn girl who loves scarcely. Crossing paths consistently, neither one spoke to the other. Until one particular day.
