But of course there's a reason for all of this. Dylan is adopted. Dylan has always struggled with being adopted and she tends to fight everything in life. Many bad memories cause her to be the way she is. She desperately wants to forget her past, including some bad things she experienced, but the memories stay stuck in her mind. Dylan has three best friends who help her get by. The only three people she 100% trust and doesn't like to. They all have their own problems and lies they tell, but they help each other through it all. Especially her boyfriend Vince, who would do absolutely anything for her. The Best Kind of Betrayal
It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. Still. New chances are for new beginnings, right? Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.

The fall had been a big mood ring for Oskar. Breaking the school rules he gets almost expelled from school, but it brings him and Aaron together for the first time in 2 years. Oskar kisses 2 times Aaron, but he doesn't seem to reciprocate his feelings, especially that he's hetero and has a girlfriend. Oskar finds new friends and gets popular for the first time, and everybody starts noticing him, which was one of the biggest dreams for Oskar. However, his new friends turned to be fake, allowing Oskar to get beaten to death. Even though Aaron previously seemed to not care for Oskar, he was the only one who visited Oskar in the hospital every day. After spending the whole winter in hospital, Aaron finally comes out of the hospital and rejoins his friends in school. All eyes in school will be once again turned on a 15-years old boy. Is he ready to confront his fake friends who let him be beaten in a conspiracy. Will he graduate the junior high school having so many setbacks on his head? Will he forgive Aaron eventually?
