Honestly, I don't really know how to describe this story, so here's a short excerpt that I think sums it up quite nicely. ... Finally, I disconnected my phone from the cassette player and turned the car off. I got out and put in my headphones, deciding to listen to the rest of Jump while I looked for a new playlist I could deem worthy. I was looking at my phone as I walked and I didn't even see the girl until I ran directly into her. I stumbled a bit and papers flew all around us. I looked up, about to apologize and help clean up the space around us, but then I stopped. You know those shitty fanfics you read where it's like, "the world seemed to stop and for a minute I couldn't breathe as I looked into their green, leafy, forest, brown, hazel eyes"? Yeah, well, I don't want to be cliche but I swear to God the moment we locked eyes I forgot how to breathe for a minute. I have no idea how long I was out of it, could have been less than a second, could have been ten minutes, but eventually, I managed to get my brain to focus. "So sorry, here," I bent down to help pick up the papers, which I couldn't help but notice were all sheet music. ...
