When she comes back she is allowed time to herself, safe in the little pet shop with no one the wiser of what she is. Life is easy and she is safe. Until one day a man walks into her little safe haven. He knows exactly what she is and despite her and Nick's arrangement, it looks like she'll be getting a new owner, indefinitely... **Author's Note: This is a short story.
