A day in the life of Josephine Perkins

This was a creative writing task that I had to complete in my Literature class this year (2014).
The task was this:
"Imagine what it may have been like to have lived during the 1920s...
Write a short creative piece which describes 'a day in the life'."
As the title says, this is about a young woman named Josephine Perkins, and this is a day in her life during the 1920s, after the war, when women began to earn their rights.
