Xianxia refers to a genre of Chinese martial arts novel which includes fantasy elements such as magic and immortals. Although this novel is Xianxia-inspired, it is not a Xianxia novel. There are certain stylistic elements which I have omitted, and some layers I have added, which would spoil the story if listed here. That being said, if you enjoy Xianxia, Wuxia, or even adventure and fantasy novels in general, I believe this story will be to your taste. So just try it out, and let me know what you think!
