Everyone knows you have a soulmate. Even if you don't believe in them, you know deep in the back of your mind that there is someone in the world that will love you, and care for you, and be at your side the rest of your life.
In a time where every person is born with a unique mark on the wrist -well almost unique- your soulmate has the matching tattoo. You spend your life trying to find that one person and you will. The universe will make it happen one way or another.
But what happens when you find them and they break up with you?
Millie is just your everyday girl. She looked for her soulmate like everyone else in the world. She found him. Bram. She loved him even before they discover their tattoos match. The two hopelessly fell in love. After years of being together, the two plan to wed. One week before their wedding, he dumped her.
And told her to find someone else.
And told her not to blame herself.
And told her he isn't in pain.
And told her to move on.
She is going to tell you the answer to the biggest question in life: How do you live without your soulmate?

The day of everyone's lives where they're supposed to have had their tattoo already. Now, 5 years after the disappointment of not receiving one, Louis has completely given up on ever finding someone. He's given up on ever getting a tattoo, on ever finding a soul mate, and on ever being loved. Until he meets Kealleigh a month after her 18th birthday. (This is a short story. Please do not directly steal my ideas, like the tattoos for example because I made them up entirely on my own.
