Claire Lockwood is an orphan living at the Thorn Hill Home for Children. Her whole world turns upside down when a strange man comes to take her to a prestigious academy for students with Shapeshifting abilities.
Here, she discovers a whole new world of possibilities. Claire learns that the duty of a Shifter is to ensure the peaceful coexistence of humans and animals. Shifters act as guardians, messengers, and warriors for the animal world, relaying the message to the human race.
