It is finally here! The moment we were waiting forever since half of the universe was snapped out of existence in Infinity War (IW) is here. Hyped up even before the release of IW, Avengers: Endgame is the conclusion to everything that was building up in the MCU, now dubbed as "The Infinity Saga". Don't worry, this entire post is Spoiler-Free. After the "Decimation" (the snap referred to as in the MCU), the Avengers try to take on Thanos to avenge the genocide that happened in Infinity War. That's it! That's all I can say about this movie. You should watch the movie on your own to know what happens in the movie, instead, I would like to talk about what I felt about it. In short, I absolutely loved it! Spanning three hours, Avengers: Endgame is a definitive wrap up for certain characters as their actors are leaving the franchise. The movie begins with an intense scene and ends on an equally emotional note. There are some plot conveniences here and there, but the overall emotional payoff is stronger than issues brought up by certain plot lines. Also, the takes a certain character in a totally different direction than what he was in Infinity War and that may annoy the fans of the said character. Also, there is a hilarious moment similar to the "MARTHA" moment from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (but this one is hilarious intentionally). Having said that, the highlight of this movie is its fantastic third act where Captain America is the MVP. So, long story short, this movie is awesome and you should totally check this movie out. A sombre first two hour is "perfectly balanced" (to quote Thanos) with a kick-ass final hour that feels straight out of the comics. #YourReviewOnFC
