Seventeen-year-old Celestian, Rinn Starlace, is about to celebrate one of the most important days of her life--her blooming ceremony. A spectacular night to mark her entry into adulthood. But instead of focusing on her upcoming rite of passage, Rinn is distracted by thoughts of a gorgeous young Beastman named Taxon.

Celestians and Beastfolk have been at war for years, and Rinn knows her crush on the handsome warrior is impossible. Yet on the night of her party, in a shocking twist of fate, Rinn comes face to face with her secret obsession and he's even more devastatingly perfect in person.
