Many moons after the fall of the original four clans under the tyranny of a corrupted leader, Starclan brought upon themselves to powers unlike any have seen before to four particular cats that would soon take down the leader's reign and later rebuild four new clans to replace the fallen ones. The new four clans are known as Wolfclan, Rockclan, Meadowclan, and Pineclan. Over the moons, a new era had been sent to all four clans to were now every cat can have their own ability and live in peace for many moons to come.
Many moons later an apprentice named Wolfpaw resides within her home Wolfclan. She is seen as being a happy go lucky she-cat and is always eager to soon become a great warrior, and maybe leader someday. However, the more that Wolfpaw grows, the more obstacles come to face her head-on as she endures loss, betrayal, love, and hatred. While a great threat is brought up in a propechy that could potentially destroy all four clans unless a certain piece that is part of the propechy can stop this threat from coming to fruition. Now faced with a life or death situation, Wolfpaw must find her own path in order to protect the ones she loves most.

The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. While they had their disagreements, they kept a relatively harmonious existence. They had always been four Clans and it was believed that they always would be. For as long as they kept the warrior code alive, the Clans would continue to thrive. That's when the troubles began. One long, hot, dry greenleaf, a fire swept through GrassClan. Some cats were lost but those that survived resumed life in their now scorched territory. They knew that life was going to be harder than ever, but they could not abandon the only home they had ever known. The next couple of seasons, GrassClan struggled to feed themselves with little prey to be found. Yet, they refused to give up. Newleaf found GrassClan weak and starving but with hope on their horizon. Their oldest queen had moved into the nursery. Then, disaster struck a second time. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders.
