This story follows two kids in a rather small town called, Gallows Hill
One being a boy who works in his sickly father's butcher shop and is neglected by his mother.
The other being a girl who lives with her older brother and father and takes care of her little nephew.
The two meet once the girl moves to Gallows Hill and they become good friends over their living situations, however...
The two may not know about it immediately, but they've got a lot more in common than they think they do. Allowing them to be fast friends.
But one night, everything goes to hell and the two seventeen year olds resort to running off and going into hiding.

Hostage. Prisoner. What ever you wish to call it. They won't let me nor my friends leave. Taken by a cannibalistic family and claimed I was being adopted into their family. I already have a family of my own. And what of my friends that's with me? They're the main course. In the little town of Norbury, Canada, there have been several people disappearing without a trace. A couple of my colleagues and I decided to do a news article and discover the reasons for all the missing people. However I never realized the horrors that would await us in the quiet little town. The town is not a real place in Canada, I just made it up. This is my first story ever so if I have grammar mistakes PLEASE CORRECT ME!!! The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth.
