This is a chapter-by-chapter read following the life of Maria, a college girl slowly healing from a trauma revealed and pieced together as the chapters go by. It follows her struggling with the anxiety, trust issues, and depression that have plagued her since it happened, all while beginning to embrace herself with the help of her boyfriend Cole and her vivid group of friends.

I knew what was coming later tonight, not only at home, but on the way there. I knew that reacting right now would just make it worse though. Maria and I
This is pretty Much my journey of facing depression. Since highschool. Till today. Writing is definitely one of the harmless methods i use to let it out. I think describing emotions is not an easy thing. Sure we have words for it: adjectives and such but to be able to portray my feelings in the sense where I am able to induce what I am feeling into you readers out there is in my sense, challenging. Reasons
Cursed as much as blessed with empathy, Ava Monroe can't help herself when someone needs help, physically or mentally. Her escape from the horrors of people's minds is painting, but painting is exactly what leads her to Max. To be fair, she doesn't know who Max is when she meets him.
