Christopher Collins is a 13-year old boy who lives in a small, modern town named Redacre, a no-signal zone. The kids of Redacre usually blackout before waking up with mud everywhere and scratches and scrapes on their bodies, along with the disorienting music coming from below the town when it's late at night. Those same kids came together and formed the Blackout Club, a group investigating the peculiar blackouts. Recently a member has gone missing, Isabella 'Bells' Shaw, a good friend of Chris and other members of the Blackout Club. These events inspire the Blackout Club to investigate more actively by scouring the underground tunnels beneath the town.
