Swapna Menon had decided to stay single in her life. Her father who had left her three-month pregnant mother to marry his lover had given a deep scar to Swapna where she refused to trust any man. Her view was that society pardoned every sin of a man and the women were forced to bear the brunt of men's selfishness. Irrespective of her mother, her grandparents trying many times she refused to change her decision.
Anup Gangadharan the charismatic leader and a man every girl loved to have as her life partner. In reality under that confident and suave persona Anup was a broken man. A child who was forced to grow up at the age of ten to take care of his father and younger sister as his mother left her husband and children to start a new life with her lover in a new place. The scar has made Anup a hardcore chauvinistic who believed women should not be given freedom to choose.
Swapna who refuses to trust a man and Anup who wants to control women are forced to work together as a team in their company's Trivandrum branch to set up their consulting practice. How this path crossing will change their lives. Will Swapna be able to change her perspective about men. Will Anup understand every woman is not a mirror of his mother. Most importantly will they be able to keep aside their differences and work for the common goal of setting up the consulting practice or will their personal difference affect their professional life also.
The other side deals with the story of Swapna and Anup both of whom comes from broken families with rigid perspectives about the opposite gender due to their childhood experiences. It takes you through the journey of Anup and Swapna who from being coworkers with opposite views becomes friends and how love blooms in that friendship and finally what makes them take the final step to stay together for the rest of their lives.
