Kate Walker è un avvocato a cui è stato assegnato il compito di occuparsi dell'acquisizione di una fabbrica di automi. Una volta arrivata a Valedilène, un piccolo paese sulle alpi francesi, scopre che l'anziana proprietaria della fabbrica è deceduta improvvisamente, lasciando scritto in una lettera che Hans, il fratello che tutti credevano morto, è in realtà vivo e vegeto. Kate si mette quindi in viaggio, seguendo gli indizi lasciati dall'uomo, decisa a portare a termine il suo incarico.
Nota: la storia non è di mia invenzione, ma si tratta di un adattamento narrativo del gioco per PC (e da poco anche per Nintendo Switch) di Syberia, un videogame punta e clicca pubblicato per la prima volta nel 2002.

Usually, you get first person (writing from the main character's perspective, e.g. "I walked my dog...") Or you get third person limited (there's a narrator but the perspective is limited to a specific character for the entire story or chapter). My last story, Bartender in Charming was in third person limited, for example, with some sections in first person because I was awful about consistency. This story is written in third person omniscient, which basically means I'm going to be jumping around between characters perspectives at will and without labeling.
