Summary:
Kell was bored, he admits. Lila had left yet again to adventure aboard the Nightspire, and communications between the worlds had become strained. This prompted a late night walk through the city, just wanting to clear his head. Instead, Kell found a note addressed to "The antari of whatever world this falls into," And as much as he wanted to ignore it, the implications of the letter were far to great.
Meanwhile, a world away, the leader of the Dregs was facing his own dilemma. Kaz's men were disappearing one by one, plucked off the street by a shadow. Pekka Rollins is back in town sooner than Kaz thought he would be, claiming alliance with the self proclaimed "Crow Killer". To make matters worse, his enemy had made Kaz's Wraith their own, and he's starting to run out of options.
